In a unexpected collaboration that breaks traditional expectations, the game developer has revealed an in-game collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual holiday event runs from November 25 through December 22, offering free bonus story content for Shadows players.
Peculiar Mission Uncovered
According to the official announcement, "A mysterious meeting leads heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a new quest, where rumors of banned ceremonies and monstrous metamorphoses echo through the obscurity." The plot introduces a "strangely dressed woman named Ada" who tasks the pair with venturing into the Gemstone Grotto—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her ally from a clandestine group.
The adventure centers on "strange tests and a monstrous enemy" and is open to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.
Recognizable Settings and Transformations
The trailer showcases the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This important location was earlier where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The trailer finishes with a striking moment showing a character, probably the captive, morphing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.

Players who accomplish the adventure will acquire an unique katana alongside numerous items secreted throughout the area in secret chests. The update also features purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
